Do you know what Butter Coffee is? You might be shocked to hear that butter coffee is sold in a roadside shop in Old Delhi. Amar Sirohi, a food blogger, went to Haveli Bakhtawar lane near Jama Masjid and He also posted a video on his Instagram page about his experience.
For the past 20 years, Asimuddin has had a stall in the narrow lane selling butter coffee. To make it, they put milk in a glass and mixed coffee powder and butter in it, as seen in the video. He sweetened it with sugar. They then served butter coffee in a cup with cocoa powder spread on top.
Amar Sirohi tried butter coffee and described it as having a salty, caramelised flavour. “It’s not as bad as I thought,” he said in the video. However, this is not a positive situation. Each cup of butter coffee costs 30 rupees. On the Internet, people are sharing their thoughts and opinions on this video. “Never seen this before,” one user commented. “Wait a few days,” wrote another in a comment. People will begin to make paneer coffee as well.
